Hi Couchbase Mobile users, the team is back with 1.0.3 releases for both our Couchbase Lite clients as well as our Sync Gateway server. The continued focus on quality and performance has been our on-going mission, and while we push toward our next major release we've brought those intermediate fixes back to you in the short-term.

A few weeks ago we released 1.0.3 for two of our most mature and popular platforms, Couchbase Lite iOS and Couchbase Lite Android. On iOS, we've begun to add minor enhancements that will be ported to the rest of our platforms. On Android, we have been proactive in fixing issues that we saw in our preview of the upcoming Lollipop release. A more detailed set of release notes if available here:

Right in time for hacking over the Halloween weekend, we released a 1.0.3 for our sync server, Sync Gateway. We've patched our installation scripts to support installations as a service on Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04 and the recent 14.04 release, as well as Centos 5 and Centos 6, with Centos 7 support coming soon. We've also added a patch against the POODLE vulnerability, improved our session management APIs, and added a few additional enhancements that we have listed our in our release notes here: http://developer.couchbase.com/mobile/develop/references/sync-gateway/release-notes/1.0.3/index.html

Lastly, for Couchbase Lite iOS developers, be sure to check out our new additions of Swift sample code embedded in our documentation to see how you can use Couchbase Lite alongside Swift.

As usual, if you have any questions, do get in touch with us on our mailing list here, or start a new thread in our brand new forum here.
