If you’re new to Droidcon, it is an excellent developer focused mobile conference specific to Android. You’ll learn from industry
experts how to design and develop amazing Android applications using modern best practices.
I will be giving both a talk and a workshop for developing Android applications that use Couchbase.
The title of my talk is What’s Peer-to-peer (P2P) and How to Create Offline Mobile Apps where I’ll focus on the
fundamentals of offline-first mobile applications while slipping in peer-to-peer syncing, eliminating the need for a server.
In the mini-workshop, Building the Kitchen Sync, an Android Workshop, we’ll revisit some of the concepts from my
peer-to-peer talk and bring Couchbase Sync Gateway and Couchbase Server into the mix. This session, of course being hands on,
will allow everyone to get first hand experience with integrating Couchbase Mobile into their Android applications.
This conference is going to be a lot of fun. If you attend, make sure to swing by our booth for some swag!
