Announcing newer version of Couchbase Plug-in for Elasticsearch

We’re happy to announce the update to our Couchbase Plug-in for ElasticSearch. Plug-in is now updated to work with latest release of Couchbase Server 2.5.1 and Elasticsearch 1.0.1.

If you’re using Elasticsearch plug-in your Couchbase deployment and planning to upgrade to latest Couchbase Server 2.5.1 then we recommend using latest plug-in v1.3.0.

CouchTalk Calling

tldr;

The storage part of CouchTalk is easy, just jpeg and wav resources keyed by id. What's interesting is the application model that assumes sequential keys, allowing the front end to index into the data without issuing any queries. To detect the last key we just watch browser events on the img tag and stop on 404.
