New Visual Studio Code Snippets for the .NET Couchbase Client Library

I have a few Visual Studio code snippets that I use regularly when testing out new installations of Couchbase Server.  I've just made them available on GitHub and Nuget.  Right now the snippets are fairly basic, but over time I'll work on creating some more best-practice and common task snippets.  At this point, the snippets are most useful for someone just starting out with the Couchbase .NET Client.

The first snippet (cbc) will take care of setting up a client instance using the default configuration (in code, not app|web.config)

Need database metrics? Using the Couchbase Admin Console

No matter what we work on and what system we are operating, we always need to have the right set of tools to get the job done. Airplane pilots need to have the right set of visual metrics in the cockpit - displays for altitude, direction heading, speed, fuel flow, etc to monitor and control the aircraft.

Couchbase and VMware vFabric Application Director

A year ago, almost to the day, I was working at VMware in the vFabric group on a beta product called AppDirector. It was designed to simplify the process of getting complex application environments up and running in a user serviceable way – as in – skip submitting a ticket and then waiting 2+ weeks for the IT group to build up and configure 10 virtual machines with Centos, Tomcat, MySQL and Apache. It was a great idea but I decided to leave VMware for Couchbase before I could see it fully completed.
